Tapestry was founded in 2020 by Ashley Whitworth, a senior management consultant with extensive experience supporting Indigenous Nations, not-for-profits, and public-sector organizations in governance, strategic planning, organizational development, and trauma-informed leadership. Over the years, she has developed custom approaches that ensure each client receives exactly what they need to build capacity and increase operational efficiency, while also providing parallel coaching and guidance to help internal staff take over any plan with confidence. 

Ashley has supported more than 30 Indigenous Nations and organizations across Canada, providing as-needed support, including small projects such as policy development and multi-year project director roles. Tapestry has used the tagline "Tag Us" to encourage clients to engage a multifaceted consultant for only what they need, which can make the critical difference for organizational success.
